Planning a Traffic Campaign

Aug 31st, 2010 | By Tim | Category: Traffic Tips

One of the terms that I’ve picked up, from working the search engines where you have to pay to get traffic, is “traffic campaign”. I really like this name because it encompasses more than just ‘submitting’. Many webmasters find when they start out that they submit sites and then BANG! They hit a wall. The traffic does not start to flow.

If you build it, they will not come…
If you build it AND submit it, they still might not come!

E-Books and Affiliate Programs

Aug 14th, 2010 | By Dee | Category: E-Book Marketing

E books and Affiliate ProgramsSome E-books combine very well with an affiliate program. When the affiliate receives some extra benefit from promoting the viral message, like being able to brand your E-book with his affiliate links, the affiliate makes a sale when a reader buys through a branded link. You benefit from increased traffic on your website because the affiliate is willing to promote the E-books for you.

Planning Your Blogging Profit Plan

Jul 20th, 2010 | By Dee | Category: Blogging

Planning your blogging profit plan is crucial part of the construction of any monetized blog. But what does it usually involve? Generally, planning your blogging profit plan consists of two things: working on a traffic generation plan and improving conversion rates.

When planning your blogging profit plan, you may want to work on the conversion side first. If you begin sending traffic to your blog before it is monetized properly, your conversion rates could be too low to earn a significant return on your investment; this is especially true if you are paying for traffic from pay-per-click sources, such as Adwords.
